West Jordan Athlete Signings

We are incredibly proud to announce that three Jaguars are going on to compete at the next level. Cody Canard, Onesi Ngalo, and Drake DeHaan have all signed with teams and we wish them the best of luck as they continue to pursue their athletic goals.

Congratulations to Cody Canard for committing to the Weber State Track & Field team. Cody played a huge role in the success of our boys team over the last 3 years. He held the Javelin 6A state record in 2018 for a few months, placed 2nd and 4th at state in 2018 & 2019, and competed for team Utah at GSW 2 years in the row. We are proud of you Cody!

Congratulations to Onesi Ngalo for signing with the UVU Track and Field team. Onesi was our Field MVP this year and most outstanding thrower last year. He placed 2nd in the Shot Put at state, broke his own school record in Shot Put (52-00), was one of our throwing team captains, and scored multiple points for us over the last 3 years. We are excited to see what Onesi will do at the D1 collegiate level!

Congratulations to Drake DeHaan for singing his NLI with the College of Southern Idaho. He will run for both their Cross Country and Track teams this fall. We are grateful for all of Drake's hard work and dedication over the past 4 years.

We hope to have many more athletes have the opportunity to compete in college in future seasons!
