NCAA Eligibility
College coaches can now start talking to high school athletes starting their Junior year.

If you wish to compete in a sport in college you must go to the NCAA Eligibilty website and do the following:
​
1. Create an account
​
2. Send your ACT/SAT scores and transcripts.
3. Request amateurism certification.
4. Pay $80
College Recruitment
You cannot rely solely on a college coach reaching out to you. Here are somethings you can do to get your name out there.
​
1. Go to all the college Track/XC teams athletic pages that you wish to be a part of. Fill out their recruiting form.
2. Email the event coach at the college.
​
3. Have good attendance and a solid GPA.
​
4. Work on getting as many non athletic scholarships (see school counselors).
5. Have your high school coach reach out to the college coaches.
