Westlake Grass Relays 2019

There were a TON of 2 mile PR’s this past weekend. Our girls relay placed 10th and our boys placed 12th. Still a lot of work to do but progress none the less!

Westlake Grass Relays athletes of the week: Becca Ferre (9th) & Austin Klingler (11th). Becca ran a 3 minute personal best in the 2 mile with a 14:42! She was aggressive in the race and listened to what the coaches told her to do! We are excited for the other races to come!

Austin was the 4th leg on the boys relay team. When he got the baton we were in 15th place and he moved us up into 12th. He ran the second fastest team split with a 10:54, beating his time trial time by 40 seconds! Big things are in store for this junior this year.
