Weber State XC Invite

Weber State Invite athletes of the week: Kenzy Thomson (10th) & Alex Maxfield (9th): Kenzy had been battling sickness all week leading up to the race. She was able to keep it together and ran very even splits throughout the race. She ran a HUGE personal best with a 20:58 (3.05 miles) and placing second on the team. We are so excited to see her keep chipping away at her PR!

Alex has been dealing with a nagging hip injury all season. This past week he has been running on and off. He went into this race to see what shape he was still in and came away with a HUGE PR (17:57), 9th place in the rookie race, and the 4th best time on the team! We can’t wait to see what else is in store with him this season!
