Highland Invite 2019

The team had a great time competing in their first meet of the season. We saw a lot of good things but there is still a lot of room for improvement which is exciting! (We are missing quite a few boys in the first picture....)

Highland Invite athletes of the week:

Ally Nelson (10th) & Ethan Maxfield (12th). Ally ran her first race ever (besides a time trial) with a stellar time of 24:09 on a hilly course. She showed guts by getting out fast and competing throughout the race. We are excited to see what this sophomore is going to do the rest of the season.

Ethan got out fast from the gun and executed his race plan. He ran a fantastic time of 16:20, almost 2 mins faster than what he ran last year and securing the top spot on our team. We are excited to see everything this senior is going to accomplish the rest of the season.
